Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Ensure that local processes needed for the QHSE Management System are established and maintained.
  • Perform supplier audits where needed.
  • Set targets and drive follow-up of the annual road map/action plans to improve QHSE, aligned with EMEA strategy and plans.
  • Support the production with QHSE topics.
  • Support continuous improvement projects.
  • Maintain and train the organization in ADD-systems, Quality and HSE assurance, continuous improvements, and other corporate processes.
  • Plan and ensure that internal audits and external audits are performed according to the plan for ISO 9001, 14001, 45001, 3834, and APQP for wind.
  • Issue quality-related non-conformity reports and follow up on these (internal, supplier, and customer-related).
  • Follow-up of COPQ for the site.
  • Facilitate site-specific risk reviews.
  • Map the health and safety risks and develop processes and action plans to mitigate the risks.
  • Identify and execute the necessary training for employees related to QHSE, including mandatory refresher/update trainings.
  • Monitor laws and regulations linked to QHSE in the business, plan and support the implementation of necessary measures to meet current and future legislation.
  • Register, check, and control all the equipment for calibration.
  • Register, check, and control all the lifting equipment.
  • Register, check, and control portable machines and forklifts.
  • Follow 5S processes.
  • Other incidental duties related to QHSE.

Person Specification – Key Requirements for the Role

Education & Qualifications

  • NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent qualification in Health and Safety.
  • A degree or equivalent level qualification in Environmental Sciences, Quality Management, or a related field.
  • Membership of IOSH at Certified (Cert IOSH) level.

Experience:

  • Several years of proven industry experience within QHSE Management roles in a highly regulated and compliance-focused environment.
  • Proven expertise in the management of HSE processes and risk identification and mitigations, including deep knowledge of local legislation related to HSE.
  • Experience in machinery industrial production.
  • Proven expertise in the management of ISO 9001, 14001, 45001, and 3834-2 standards.
  • Experience in the wind market.
  • Demonstrated application of Lean/Continuous improvement tools in manufacturing.
  • Competent in MS Office applications.

Physical Demand / Environmental Conditions:

  • Roles in the manufacturing area will require standing most of the day and continually moving and lifting small, medium, and heavy items.
  • Normal office conditions include walking, standing, bending, kneeling, climbing stairs, lifting, driving, and/or traveling. Job demands may require long periods of sitting, telephone work, and/or computer work, as well as interaction with other people.
