Mission

Achieve or exceed sales targets in Spain & Portugal by promoting and selling The Crosby Group's products and services. This would involve building and maintaining strong relationships with key customers and partners, demonstrating the features and benefits of The Crosby Group's products and services, and closing sales deals to drive revenue growth. Approx. 40% of focus time would be spent on Fishing & Aquaculture, with rest spending on O&G, Construction, General Industry, and other segments. There is a possibility to expand the reach to additional countries such as Italy, France, Morocco, etc. but needs to be discussed.

 

Principal Duites and Responsibilities

  • Achieving or exceeding sales targets within a designated district or territory
  • Establish and ensure implementation of price strategy
  • Building and maintaining relationships with key customers and partners
  • Demonstrating the features and benefits of the company's products or services to potential customers
  • Negotiating deals and closing sales
  • Maintaining accurate records of sales activities, including customer contacts and product demonstrations
  • Resolving customer complaints and addressing any technical objections
  • Staying up to date on industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities to inform sales strategy
  • Collaborating with other sales team members, as well as other departments such as marketing and

customer service, to drive revenue growth.

Work Experience, Skills, Abilities

Work Experience:

  • Five (5) to seven (7) years’ of technical sales experience, with a proven track record of meeting or

exceeding sales targets

  • Experience working with customers in a technical or engineering capacity
  • Familiarity with the products and services in their industry or area of expertise

Skills:

  • Strong technical knowledge and expertise, including the ability to understand complex technical concepts and communicate them to a non-technical audience
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to build relationships with

customers and stakeholders

  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify customer needs and provide

solutions

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong time-management and organization skills, with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines

Abilities:

  • Ability to think creatively and develop innovative solutions for customers
  • Ability to demonstrate technical products and services, including the ability to conduct product

demonstrations and presentations

  • Ability to negotiate and close sales deals
  • Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders, both internally and externally.

 

Education

Bachelor's degree, preferably in a relevant field such as business, marketing, or sales.

Physical Demand / Environmental Conditions

Sales

Conditions are variable, depending on assignment and may include extended periods of sitting, while traveling, working on computer, talking on phone, etc., extended periods of standing and/or walking when traveling and calling on customers. Speaking, listening, reaching, lifting, bending stooping and climbing may also be required. Exposure to elements, including extreme heat and cold may also be required.

Normal office conditions. Office may be located in a multi-level office building. Job demands may require long periods of sitting, telephone work and/or computer work, as well as interaction with other people. Normal office conditions include walking, standing, bending, kneeling, climbing stairs, lifting, driving and/or traveling.
